The grandest wedding of the year took place in July when Anant Ambani tied the knot with Radhika Merchant. As a special gesture, Anant Ambani gifted his groomsmen luxurious Audemars Piguet watches, each worth a staggering Rs 2 crore. Celebs like Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh, Meezan Jafri, Veer Pahariya, Shikhar Pahariya and Vicky Kaushal were among those who received this extravagant gift. Five months later, singer Mika Singh, who performed at the wedding, revealed his disappointment about not being included among those who got the limited-edition watches.

Speaking to Lallantop recently, Mika admitted he was paid a handsome amount for his performance but expressed his frustration humorously. He said, “I performed at Anant Ambani’s wedding, and they distributed a lot of money, even to me. But I’m upset about one thing – I didn’t get the watch that the other close guests received.”

Mika Singh added, “Anant bhai, aapka chota bhai hun yaar, sabko ghadi di hai… (Anant bhai, I’m your younger brother, yaar. You’ve given a watch to everyone…) In fact, I was gifted a gold chain and a watch at a US concert, which I wasn’t even expecting. But at the Ambanis’, I was expecting that I would get something. So, Anant bhai, whenever I come to your home next, give me whatever you wish.”

The singer revealed he earned a substantial fee for performing at the grand wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. Speaking about his payment, Mika shared that it was enough to comfortably sustain him for five years. “I was paid a very handsome amount, but I can’t disclose the exact figure,” he said.

“To give you an idea, the money I received was so significant that I could easily live off it for five years. I don’t have extravagant expenses, so this fee would cover me comfortably for that duration.”
