OPPO Strikes Back Strong in PH for Q3 2024

Canalys has released its list for the top 5 phone brands in the Philippines for Q3 of 2024, and the results surprised us: while Transsion group (itel, Infinix, TECNO) remains on top, OPPO is the biggest plot twist in the rankings showed by Canalys. For the first time in a while, OPPO is now at number 2 with a market share tied with realme–but pulled off a whopping annual growth of 91%.

The reasons OPPO emerged strongly in the Q3 2024 of Canalys include its successful marketing campaigns for the Reno11 and Reno12 series, which also involved getting A-List celebrities like Bea Alonzo and SEVENTEEN (BSS). OPPO’s pricing on its phones may be a bit on the premium side, but you’re getting great software optimization with all of its AI-powered improvements for ColorOS.
