Allu Arjun’s father, Allu Aravind announced that his family would give ₹2 crore in financial aid to the eight-year-old boy who was injured in the stampede at Sandhya Theatre. On December 4, a tragic stampede at the theatre led to the death of a 35-year-old woman, and her eight-year-old son was injured. Following the incident, the woman’s family filed a complaint, prompting the city police to file a case against Allu Arjun, his security team, and the theatre management at the Chikkadpally police station.

Allu Aravind visited the victim

Allu Aravind, along with producer Dil Raju and others, visited the hospital where the boy is being treated. He confirmed that the boy is recovering well and no longer needs a ventilator to breathe. He said, “The boy, Sri Teja, is recovering. Now he is not on a ventilator. To support the family, we should help him with ₹2 crore: ₹1 crore from Allu Arjun, ₹50 lakh from Mythri Movie Makers, and ₹50 lakh from director Sukumar. We will give the money through Telangana Film Development Corporation Chairman Dil Raju.”

Producer Dil Raju, who is also the chairman of the Telangana Film Development Corporation (FDC), added, “We have a meeting scheduled tomorrow with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, and we’ve invited many important figures from the industry.”

The boy’s father said he was not pressured to drop the case

The boy’s father, Bhaskar, shared that his son’s condition has improved. The boy is now off the ventilator and oxygen, though doctors say it will take time for him to fully recover. Bhaskar also mentioned that he had received ₹10 lakh from Allu Arjun, along with extra help from the film’s production team and Telangana Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy. Bhaskar made it clear that he was not pressured to drop the case and that Allu Arjun’s team had reached out to him with support right after the incident.

The hospital also gave an update on the boy’s condition, saying, “Sri Teja is now stable and no longer needs oxygen or ventilator support. He is showing signs of improvement, such as opening his eyes and moving his limbs, though he still doesn’t recognize family members or make eye contact.”
